Singapore

Got a chance to visit Singapore but sadly for business purpose.  This time it took place in the venue of NangYang University which is located at the west end of Singapore.  The Airport itself is located at the east end and that indeed made me realize Singapore is such a small country!  When I left Japan the temperature was around 15 degree while it was around 30 on the arrival in Singapore.
It is really impressive that country which belongs to subtropic area can be a such a developed country.   I myself felt as if I was in resort country with such a climate that I didn't feel like working hard anymore on the arrival...

The business task I had there was hard but fun as well and main outcome there was to meet many people from other locations, other cultures.
So many things to learn, for good or bad, when you see people from other countries.  Like their aggressiveness, cheerfulness and leadership, being talkative.
I was so astonished.
I almost forgot all the things I learned through the course but at least I experienced anyway...
As we were locked up in the venue all day from morning till night for three days, couldn't go out a bit at all to browse the country.  But fortunately because of the flight delay we got spare time on the last day before the flight, so we dropped by the city.  Fun time.  We bumped into other participant to the course from China (he said that he lost 5000 dollars in half an hour at the casino just before we met!).  The ex-colleague of ours who lives in Singapore welcomed us in the city and she took us famous chili crab restaurant called No Signboard.  Fabulous!
Hope to visit this country for vacation next time.

香港スターもお忍びで来るという(?)エッグタルトのお店を友人がお土産に持参してくれた。甘すぎず美味しい。しかも菱形。

Chili crab sauce。蟹の風味が効いたソースで美味しい。揚げパンと共に。有名店らしく,現地以外にも駐在らしき日本人,外国人が多く訪れていた
