warm messages to give us strength

1: "How are you? I have been horrified by the terrible tragedy that has struck your country, and am relieved to hear everyone is safe and as well as can be. I gave the OK last week for this this e-mail to go out none the less, but was thinking of you as I did.
Are you one of the few coming in to the office, or working from home?
Thinking of you and wishing you and your family all the best,"

2: "Ciao, how are you? What is happening around you? All the information we have here are not so good....please if you can just send a little mail to confirm you are fine.
Anything you may need please let me know I'll be happy to support

Myself and my family are close to you and your relatives

A big hug
Coraggio!"

3: "It is so good to hear from you.
You live in such a great country!!! You and all the people living in Japan have our full respect!!! You are strong and I am sure you will altogether overcome the current situation. We are all living in one world and that’s why our thoughts are with you.

On Saturday I was at a concert performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, which feels very much attached to Asia – Sir Simon Rattle is the head of this orchestra. The money will be donated to medical institutions in Japan. The concert was very, very crowded with people from all over the world. At the beginning there was a moment of silence and this was such a special moment and so unbelievable how silent almost 2000 people can be.

This evening I will go to the parliament district again together with colleagues and friends. We will think of Japan!! We fully believe in the strength of the Japanese citizens. You will make it, I am sure!!!!!!"

4. " i hope you are all right and safe wherever you are now. naturally i heard about the earthquake and tsunami and nuclear reactor fright going on. how are you and your parents and sisters? i can only imagine how terribly scary and challenging things have turned out there. i heard there was another earthquake nearer to Tokyo! i hope you are ok. how safe are things in Tokyo?

if it is convenient for you i would love to hear how you're doing and what's going on. the things we're seeing in the news are very shocking and definitely freak us out. i've heard that the Japanese government may not be telling people everything and people are worried there's more happening than they're being told. fortunately folks in Japan are so intelligent and good at working together! take good care and i hope to hear from you sometime
"

場所は違ってもこんなに皆思い遣ってくれている。なので日本で頑張らなくてどうする!
